Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology

Developmental and Reproductive studies (DART) in rodents (mice or rats) and rabbits are performed to evaluate the potential effects on male and female reproduction and effects on embryo-fetal development. DART studies are paramount to determine any toxic effects induced by the test item on maternal /paternal reproductive functions and fetus development.

Note: In addition to these oral route studies, various tailor-made studies via different routes of administration like IV, SC, IM etc., for various types of test items (Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, Biosimilars, Nutraceuticals, Herbal etc., can also be performed at Vipragen under GLP/ Non-GLP conditions as applicable.
